The third issue of the MASTER newsletter is read! We also meet another EC-funded project called SoBigData sharing common interest that is creating many synergies with MASTER. Secondments of CNR researchers to Dalhousie University

CNR researchers Vinicius Monteiro de Lira (ESR) and Emanuele Carlini (ER) already started their secondments to Dalhousie University in Halifax (Canada), hosted by Prof. Stan Matwin. The objective of their secondments is to develop methods to  efficiently analysis vessels trajectories from AIS data. In the picture we see (from left to right) Lucas May Petry from our partner Federal University of Santa Catarina in Brazil, Amilcar Soares from Dalhousie, Emanuele Carlini from CNR, Prof. Stan Matwin from Dalhousie and Vinicius Monteiro de Lira  from CNR. Below some pictures taken during the meetings at the Dalhousie offices.
