ICDE (International Conference on Data Engineering) is one of the major conferences in the area of Data Management. The 34th edition was held in Paris between 16 and 19 April. There were more than 500 participants this year, among which four members from MASTER project. Iraklis Varlamis (HUA) has presented a paper entitled “Detecting Search and Rescue Missions from AIS Data” at DESWEB workshop. Redouane Bouhamoum (UVSQ) also presented his work entitled “Scaling Up Schema Discovery for RDF Datasets” in the same workshop. Karine Zeitouni and Ahmad Mustapha have also attended the conference.

During the workshop, he had the chance to disseminate the MASTER project to more than 30 participants and also to to meet with Prof. Benjamin Nguyen (INSA Centre Val de Loire, France) who is working on Privacy & Security issues in Information Management Systems and Applications.
