CNR researcher Vinicius Monteiro de Lira has just concluded his secondment to Pontificial Catholic University of Rio de Janiero hosted by Prof. Casanova. The main topic of the research has been to discuss the transportation scenario e investigate possible collaborations and research lines. Vinicius has also met researchers and disseminated MASTER at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Dr. Livia Ruback) and Fluminense University (Prof. Luiz Andre' Paes Leme).

Early Stage Researchers Antonios Makris and Christos Sardianos from HUA continue their Brazilian experience moving to the south since they started their secondments at UFSC in Florianopolis, in the magic Santa Catarina island. Our partner, Prof. Stan Matwin from Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada, has been invited to give a talk about the MASTER experience in the "Transatlantic Research for Impact: Featuring best practices of scientific collaboration" session at the European Research Day on the 5th of November 2018 in Ottawa (Canada).
Our Brazilian partner institutions Pontificial University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC), Federal University of Ceara' (UFC) and Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) won the CAPES/PRINT fundings for internationalisation! This is a prestigious result further confirming the high quality of the MASTER consortium. It is also a fundamental source of funding for supporting secondments of researchers to consortium partners and further strength our collaboration!
